Today, we hit the 10-year milestone at Prolific. It’s an exciting moment to pause and reflect on what has been a trailblazing decade.
We've come a long way from our early days, and it’s all thanks to the vibrant community that has grown with us. Every click, every study, and every new country has been a step forward in our mission to empower people to do their best research.
Celebrating our anniversary isn't just about looking back at what Prolific and our customers have achieved. It's also about the excitement that the future holds as we get ready to leap into our next chapter.
A decade of impact
What started as a small UK venture has bloomed into a global company and platform. We've evolved from serving academia to welcoming AI model developers and corporate sector clients. Organizations like Stanford University, the European Commission, Google, Remesh, and DDI have all turned to Prolific to collect high-quality, human-powered data.
From day one, our dedication to treating participants well and ensuring the integrity of data collection set us apart. Today, Prolific operates in over 200 countries, with more than 150,000 active, vetted, and well-treated participants. And we're trusted by over 35,000 researchers and 10,000 organizations worldwide.
The Prolific platform is now a bustling research hub that has collected over 100 million study responses since launch. In fact, we see a new study launched on Prolific every two minutes, with datasets completed in just 2 hours on average.
We now offer representative data samples for the US and UK, and our customers are using Prolific to run research in over 200 countries.
As we mark an incredible 10 years of innovation, growth, and community at Prolific, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to every customer, participant, and team member who has journeyed with us. The collective efforts of hundreds of Prolificos and hundreds of thousands of Prolific participants have propelled Prolific to incredible heights, culminating in the completion of hundreds of thousands of studies that have significantly advanced the fields of research and development.
